When to Activate
Trigger this skill when the user:
- Shares student early alert data or flags
- Needs to draft outreach to at-risk students

Alert Triage Framework
Risk Level Classification

Input Requirements
Ask the user for:
- Student alert data (name/ID, course, alert type, date, details)
- Institution context (what early alert system is used — EAB, Starfish, homegrown)
- Available support services (tutoring, counseling, financial aid, basic needs)
- Advisor caseload context (how many students? what's realistic?)
- Term timeline (early, mid, late semester changes the urgency)
Anti-Patterns
- DO NOT use punitive or blaming language ("you're failing" / "you haven't been showing up")
- DO NOT overwhelm students with 10 resources — give 1-2 specific, relevant ones
- DO NOT assume the reason for an alert — ask the student
- DO NOT mark an intervention as "resolved" after one unanswered email
- DO NOT ignore patterns across students — if 30% of alerts are from one course, that's an instructional issue, not a student issue
- DO NOT share student information outside FERPA-authorized staff
